The HandsBehind The Craft.

The hands behind AZALI
“I am not made to fit into a rushed, shallow and colorless world.”

I discovered leather crafting when I was 19 years old. I was making a gift for a friend, a sewn poem book, and I needed leather among other things. That was a turning point in my life. Before then I did not know what I truly wanted to do.

I’ve always had a keen for using my hands to create; draw, write, paint, build toys, create music, diy utilities,.. And as I grew, I discovered another source of pleasure; helping people out.

Up until 25 years old, I was still lost, I had all the dots, but the connection was missing. I took the advice of my cousin; dissociate for a week, brainstorm all the ways that make you happy and all the things you’re good at, then find the intersection between them.

AZALI creative intersection

Here I am after years of computer science engineering studies and a diploma, a few months of research and two published papers, deep into my passion and my true calling; Creating beauty with leather and sharing my knowledge as I grow.

My commitment

My promise to you dear owner, is that I make every piece as if I will own it. As I take my time with every cut and every stitch, part of my soul seeps into it. With intention and full devotion to each piece, I pass on my commitment to each owner to treat these beautiful creations with care and attention.
